What is your talent or passion? Bring it to the Peace Learning Center and we’ll find a way for you to make a difference in the lives of Indianapolis area children. The Peace Learning Center offers two types of volunteer opportunities for businesses and community members:
- Individual volunteers age 16 and older can serve as everything from program facilitators at our learning center to general volunteers for day-to-day tasks needed to keep our nonprofit operating smoothly. In fact, we have had volunteers launch new programs at the center based on their past professional experiences. Click for Individual Volunteer Interest Form.
- Corporate volunteers as part of our “Peace Mentor Day” program. Volunteers spend the first half of the day training with one of our program facilitators and the second half of the day working directly with students at our learning center in Eagle Creek Park. It’s a great introduction to how peace education can make a difference in any community. Click for Group Volunteer Interest Form.
As a registered nonprofit, Peace Learning Center relies on our generous individual and corporate donors to continue offering innovative, new programs. You can make a donation online or learn more about tax-deductible opportunities to support the center by contacting Director of Engagement, Jay Horan, at email@example.com.
