Dountonia S. Batts has a passion for truth, justice, and equity in housing, economic development, and family court reform and is dedicated to developing servant leaders to influence change in each of these areas. She has a Juris Doctor degree from Indiana Tech Law School; a Master of Business Administration degree in Human Resource Management from Indiana Wesleyan University; and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biblical Counseling from Crossroads Bible College (now the College of Biblical Studies).

Dountonia enjoys reading, writing, volunteering in the community, volleyball, and horseback riding. She also loves to serve through her church and spending time with her husband and children.
