Kristina Hulvershorn has an undergraduate degree in Elementary and Special-Education. She began her career teaching in public schools in Indianapolis and Chicago, at both elementary and high school levels. Kristina received a Masters from the Institute for Humane Education. She has worked in a variety of non-profit settings focused around humane, emotional, and behavioral issues.

Kristina has been a passionate vegan for over two decades and enjoys a wide range of activist endeavors, especially youth-led work. She loves writing, being outside (especially in and near the water), the color blue, hanging out with animals and children, creating and then achieving oddly specific goals, kombucha, and spending time with her hilarious and adorable family.
