Mindfulness Classes consist of focusing attention on one’s thoughts and emotions as they show up in the body with an attitude of curiosity and intention for self-study rather than with judgment or reaction. As we learn how the instrument of our body processes thoughts and feelings, we are in a better position to respond rather than react to life events. Furthermore, as we learn how to emotionally heal and self-regulate ourselves, we find ourselves experiencing a better quality of life and can also better show up for our children in teaching them the same skills.
