Community Circles

Community Circles

A space for youth to process, reflect, and express their needs around any issue or topic that your group has determined in advance. This will be a virtual (live) circle held via Zoom and facilitated by two PLC Program Facilitators. Youth will be able to speak individually on camera or on a chat option. Internet access is required.

Social Justice Leadership Camp

What: In this 4-day workshop series teens will be introduced to the 4 I’s ( ideology, institutional, interpersonal, and internalized) of oppression as a way to analyze power in their lives and society. They will have the opportunity to discuss and connect with other teens on the platform of zoom, in-order to look at how power is being used in our society and lives. The participants will be encouraged to share their voice and concerns with the group, getting to share examples and consider different ways in which individuals and communities can challenge and create just power on all levels of the 4I’s. We believe in the power of youth and their ability to take action for justice now.
