Peace Learning Center would like to recognize Casey Rucinski as volunteer of the month. Casey has only been with Peace Learning Center for a short time, but she's already made a lasting impact. Casey has been working these past few months to help us “test drive” a new volunteer program. Jay Horan, our volunteer and intern coordinator, said, “Casey is organized, thoughtful, and reliable. On top of all that she is an incredible facilitator! Casey is one of those people that you hope stays around for a long time. PLC is better for having her here.” In addition to volunteering at Peace Learning Center, Casey is also an extremely talented professional photographer who specializes in outdoor family sessions, indoor or outdoor lifestyle photography, as well as couples and senior sessions, and a limited number of weddings and photo booths each year. Peace Learning Center would like to recognize Tamara Castleman as volunteer of the  month! Tamara has been gracious enough to offer her knowledge and talents in the development of a new volunteer opportunity that will allow adults to engage in classrooms using peace education and literacy. Jay Horan worked closely with Tamara and said, "Tamara came in and didn't skip a beat before she was helping us create a program that will allow the community to get involved in our children's education.  She is a wealth of knowledge and we are incredibly lucky that she spends her spare time with us!   We are looking forward to launching this program next school year!" Thank you Tamara for everything you have done for our organization.  We are very grateful to have you on our team!
