Peace Mentors
Peace Mentors
Individuals interested in working with youth, join Peace Learning Center for youth field trips. Duties include facilitation, group and time management and a time commitment of 9:30am-1:30 pm. Field trips happen each day of the week!
Peace Ambassadors

6-week after-school program for corporations/businesses
Week one focuses on setting the foundation and building trust with students. The sequential 5-weeks walks students through the STEP process for solving a conflict with hands-on activities that build skills for each step. Week 6 culminates in the creation of a “Peace Pole” to be planted at the school to serve as a daily reminder to students of what they learned and the relationships that were built during the time.
Requires:
- 4-hour training prior to the program
- 8-20 volunteers
- $2,000 donation to cover a facilitator to be present at each meeting and training
Peace Pages
Peace Pages
Peace Pages is a once a month commitment to a local classroom of students in IPS. Volunteers read peace aligned stories and facilitate art-based activities as a debrief. Schedules are based on school and volunteer availability.

Committees are formed on an as-needed basis to help with upcoming special events. Committee members help with fundraising, sponsorships, recruitment, PR, and marketing.
