Tim Nation

Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder

Tim Nation is the Chief Executive Officer and Cofounder of Peace Learning Center. With a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana State University, Tim is driven by the belief that everyone can be a peacemaker, regardless of age or background. Under his leadership, Peace Learning Center focuses on teaching youth and adults alike the skills needed to resolve conflicts and build healthy relationships.

Sally Dickson

Chief Advancement Officer

Sally Dickson is the Chief Advancement Officer at Peace Learning Center. With experience in both state and nonprofit grantmaking, including roles at the Eiteljorg Museum and the State of Indiana, she brings deep expertise to major grants management. Through years of working in and alongside marketing and development teams, she now leads both areas at PLC.

Anita Jackson

Director of C.A.R.E

Anita Jackson is the Director of C.A.R.E. at Peace Learning Center. With an MPA from Indianapolis University-Indianapolis, Anita first connected with PLC’s mission while working as a classroom teacher, where she admired the focus on empowering children to resolve conflicts. Anita is dedicated to building a world where differences are celebrated and honored, fostering a stronger, united community.

Director of Client & Partner Services

Jay Horan is the Director of Client & Partner Services at Peace Learning Center. A graduate of Marian University with a BS in Marketing, Jay was drawn to the organization right out of college, amazed to find a place where she could live out her values through her work. Her “why” is the people—youth, clients, partners, and staff—all of whom have shaped her into who she is today and who she will become tomorrow.

Joe Gunn is the Director of Development at Peace Learning Center. With a Master’s in Nonprofit Management from IU Indianapolis (IUPUI), Joe was drawn to PLC for its commitment to peace— a value he deeply shares. Now, Joe is proud to be part of a team dedicated to creating real, lasting change through education and community engagement.

Director of Peace Learning Circles

Emily Tribbett is the Director of Peace Learning Circles at Peace Learning Center. With a B.S. from Indiana University and an M.A. in Educational Technology from Michigan State University, Emily left her classroom teaching role to continue her commitment to making a positive impact. After relocating from Chicago to Indianapolis, she began working to empower youth to use their voices for peace.

Director of Wellness

Rebecca Marsh is the Director of Wellness at Peace Learning Center. With a BS in Marketing from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and an MSEd in Instructional Systems Technology from the IU School of Education (expected in May 2025), Rebecca has long admired PLC’s mission of promoting peace education. Driven by her belief in the transformative power of mindfulness and self-awareness, she is passionate about fostering healing and fairness to help individuals achieve true fulfillment and self-actualization.

Director of Belonging

Clare Wildhack-Nolan, Director of Belonging at Peace Learning Center, brings a deep commitment to education, community, and holistic learning. With an MAT from National Louis University, Clare believes in empowering people as creative problem solvers who challenge themselves and societal structures to foster a better world.

Director of Restorative Learning

Liz Guadiana serves as the Director of Restorative Learning at Peace Learning Center, bringing her Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs from IU Indianapolis. Liz’s personal journey led her to PLC, where she is passionate about embedding social-emotional learning and restorative practices into systems. Inspired by the belief that peace is a tangible practice, Liz is dedicated to create spaces where everyone belongs. “Courage is the price that life exacts for granting peace.” – Amelia Earhart.

L. Addison Bradford is the Learning & Data Analysis Specialist at Peace Learning Center. With a Master’s degree and academic experience from Grinnell College, DePaul University, and Indiana University, Addison transitioned from academia to PLC to make a direct impact on people’s daily lives.

Facilitator - Peer Mediation Specialist

Mame Keita is a Facilitator-Peer Mediation Specialist at Peace Learning Center. With a Master’s degree from McKinney School of Law, Mame is deeply inspired by PLC’s mission to spread peace. She believes that fostering connections and relationships is key to creating a more understanding world. Passionate about education, Mame is driven by the belief that it is the most powerful tool for change, aligning with Nelson Mandela’s words: “Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world.”

Facilitator - Retreat Specialist

Heidi Fledderjohn is a Facilitator-Retreat Specialist at Peace Learning Center with a BA in Psychology from Miami of Ohio and an MA in Dance/Movement Therapy from Goucher College. Drawn to PLC’s legacy of fostering trust, belonging, and change, Heidi believes in the transformative power of community. She is passionate about creating spaces where all voices are valued and challenging conversations lead to nurturing possibility and peace. Heidi is dedicated to empowering others to fearlessly be themselves.

Macy Cansdale

Macy Cansdale

Facilitator - Camp Specialist

Macy Cansdale, a Facilitator-Camp Specialist at Peace Learning Center, holds a Bachelor of Science in Youth and Community Development from Butler University. Passionate about promoting peace, Macy began her journey with PLC during her senior year internship, drawn to their intersectional approach to fostering peace and belonging in schools. She believes that by nurturing today’s youth they will lead their lives with love and empathy.
