Purpose-Driven Summer Camps at Peace Learning Center
Peace Learning Center offers five unique, week-long summer camps running Monday–Friday beginning June 1. Designed for youth ages 6–18, each camp blends social-emotional learning, environmental exploration, creativity, and leadership through hands-on, age-appropriate experiences rooted in nature and community.
These camps are made possible through partnerships with Earth Charter Indiana, HEART, Indiana Soccer Association, Dazzling Gems Allstars,
Stable Space, ARThentic Arts, Kids Explore Robotics, Earth Discovery Center, Seascope Inc, and of course Eagle Creek Park!

JUNE 1-5, 2026:
Social Emotional Learning (SEL) & Movement Camp
Ages 6-11
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Ages: 6-11
Cost $175 per camper
Spots Available: 30
Location: Peace Learning Center
Before Care: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
After Care: 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Food: Snacks provided twice per day, camper brings own lunch
Give your child the chance to grow inside and out this summer! Our SEL + Movement Camp combines social-emotional learning (SEL) with exciting sports and activities to help kids build confidence, teamwork, and resilience; all while having fun in the great outdoors.
Each morning, campers will explore one of the five core SEL skills (self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making) through games, reflection, and community-building activities.
In the afternoons, movement takes the spotlight with hands-on sessions led by our incredible partners:
Monday: Futsal with Indiana Soccer Association
Tuesday: Cheer & Dance with the Dazzling Gems Allstars
Wednesday: Equine Education with Stable Space
Thursday: Football or Basketball (Partner TBD)
Friday: Beach Day at Eagle Creek Reservoir
Campers will also enjoy time immersed in the beautiful natural setting of Eagle Creek Park, where Peace Learning Center is located. The week will end in celebration with an afternoon at Eagle Creek Beach, fun in the water and sun to wrap up an empowering week together.

Beginners Climate Camp
Ages 6-11
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Cost $175 per camper
Spots Available: 30
Location: Peace Learning Center
Before Care: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
After Care: 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Food: Plant-based Snacks provided twice per day, Plant-based lunch provided. Camper can bring own lunch instead.
Beginners Climate Camp is specially designed for first-time campers, youth who have not attended Climate Camp before. This welcoming week introduces campers to the basics of climate change: its causes, its global impact, and the meaningful ways each of us can take action.
Campers will enjoy climate-friendly foods, lots of outside time, and team-building activities around climate solutions. Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) concepts will be sprinkled throughout the week, helping youth practice empathy, cooperation, and confidence as they explore climate action together.
Each day, campers will rotate through activities that nurture:
- Climate Change Awareness: understanding the roots of the climate crisis and learning solutions for a healthier planet.
- Social-Emotional Learning (SEL): strengthening self-awareness, empathy, and teamwork provided by Peace Learning Center.
- Hands-On Action: creating projects and memories that show how small changes make a big difference.
Located in the Eagle Creek neighborhood on the Northwest side, campers will spend time both indoors and outdoors, building friendships while discovering their role in protecting the Earth. The week will end in celebration with an afternoon at Eagle Creek Beach, fun in the water and sun to wrap up an empowering week together.
This camp will be presented with long-time collaborators and partners Earth Charter Indiana and HEART.

Resilient Changemakers Camp
Ages 12-18
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Cost $175 per camper

Before Care: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
After Care: 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Food: Youth will bring their own lunch, snacks will be provided once a day
Join us for a transformative experience designed to help young people build the skills and courage to create a better world. In partnership with Earth Charter Indiana and HEART, the Changemaking & Resilience Camp invites middle and high school students to explore what it means to lead with compassion, resilience, and purpose.
Throughout the camp, youth will engage in:
- Social-Emotional Learning – strengthening self-awareness, empathy, and leadership skills.
- Climate Education – exploring climate challenges and discovering solutions for a sustainable future.
- Humane Education – fostering compassion and responsibility toward people, animals, and the planet.
- Set against the inspiring backdrop of Eagle Creek Park, participants will learn through hands-on projects, reflection, dialogue, and community-building.
This camp is about more than fun, it’s about cultivating the next generation of changemakers who are ready to rise to the challenges of our time.
The week will end in celebration with an afternoon at Eagle Creek Beach, fun in the water and sun to wrap up an empowering week together.

This summer, let your child’s creativity and confidence shine! Our SEL + Art Camp blends social-emotional learning (SEL) with hands-on creative expression to help kids build self-awareness, empathy, and resilience while exploring the joy of making art.
Each morning, campers will focus on a core SEL skill (self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, or responsible decision-making) through interactive games, discussions, and reflection.
In the afternoons, our partner, ARThentic Arts,will guide campers through a new art medium each day, encouraging imagination and self-expression:
Monday: Clay with artist
Tuesday: Music with artist
Wednesday: Paint with artist
Thursday: Recycled Materials with artist
Friday: Beach Day at Eagle Creek Reservoir
With time to create, collaborate, and reflect, campers will leave with not only beautiful art pieces but also stronger social-emotional skills they can use every day.
The week will end in celebration with an afternoon at Eagle Creek Beach, fun in the water and sun to wrap up an empowering week together.

Curiosity and creativity collide at our SEL + STEM Camp! Campers will build confidence, resilience, and teamwork as they explore the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and math.
Each morning, youth will strengthen one of the five SEL skills (self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making) through reflection, games, and community building.
In the afternoons, campers will dive into hands-on STEM adventures with our incredible partners:
Monday: Climate and Environment with Earth Charter Indiana
Tuesday: Coding & Robotics with Kids Explore Robotics
Wednesday: Nature Science with the Earth Discovery Center (Pond Study, Box Turtle Conversation and Geology)
Thursday: Ocean Science with Seascope Inc
Friday: Beach Day at Eagle Creek Reservoir
With plenty of time to experiment, collaborate, and learn in the natural setting of Eagle Creek Park, campers will leave with new skills, new friendships, and a passion for discovery.
The week will end in celebration with an afternoon at Eagle Creek Beach, fun in the water and sun to wrap up an empowering week together.
