Community Building & Academic Learning
At Peace Learning Center, we don’t believe community-building has to be at odds with academic learning. In fact, with our support, educators and youth workers can seamlessly integrate social emotional learning, restorative practices, and equitable mindsets in their day-to-day routines.
Learners of All Ages
We offer programs for learners of all ages. Whether you're a classroom teacher looking for an engaging, student-led field trip or a school administrator searching for comprehensive training about Restorative Practices, we've got you covered.
School Programs
Schools in central Indiana can introduce students to essential social emotional skills like empathy and critical thinking with Peacebuilders learning experience at our office in Eagle Creek Park. Groups near and far can also virtually experience other programs, like our Conflict Resolution and De-escalation workshops.
Community Workshops
Individual educators and youth workers can also participate in our Community Workshops, which cover topics like implementing Restorative Practices, disrupting Implicit Bias, and convening with other justice-minded colleagues in monthly Equity Action Circles.
