Tim Nation

Executive Director & Co-Founder

Tim Nation is the Executive Director and Cofounder of Peace Learning Center. With a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana State University, Tim is driven by the belief that everyone can be a peacemaker, regardless of age or background. Under his leadership, Peace Learning Center focuses on teaching youth and adults alike the skills needed to resolve conflicts and build healthy relationships. Tim is committed to fostering peace, equity, and justice in our communities.

Dountonia S. Batts

Associate Director

Dountonia S. Batts is the Associate Director at Peace Learning Center, specializing in strategic operations, restorative conflict resolution, and business analysis. With a B.S. in Biblical Counseling, an M.B.A. in Human Resources Management, and a Juris Doctor from Indiana Tech Law School, she brings a unique blend of expertise to promote peace and access to justice within communities. As a mother, wife, and experienced nonprofit executive, Dountonia is dedicated to aligning operational efficiency with the mission of fostering equity and building relationships, embodying the core values of PLC.

Lisa Jones

Director of Human Resources, Finance & Administration

Lisa Jones has dedicated over 25 years to the nonprofit sector, with the last 19 years at Peace Learning Center in various roles. She attended MATC and IUPUI and is currently pursuing her SHRM certification and other continuing education courses. Lisa is passionate about teaching today’s youth the skills needed to build a more powerful, equitable, and sustainable future. Her favorite quote by Franklin Delano Roosevelt encapsulates her mission: "We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future."

Jay Horan

Director of Engagement

Jay Horan is the Director of Engagement at Peace Learning Center. A graduate of Marian University with a BS in Marketing, Jay was drawn to the organization right out of college, amazed to find a place where she could live out her values through her work. Her "why" is the people—youth, clients, partners, and staff—all of whom have shaped her into who she is today and who she will become tomorrow.

Joe Gunn

Director of Development

Joe Gunn is the Director of Development at Peace Learning Center. With a Master’s in Nonprofit Management from IU Indianapolis (IUPUI), Joe was drawn to PLC for its commitment to diversity, equity, justice, and inclusion—values he deeply shares. His first connection with PLC was through a presentation on disability diversity, equity, and inclusion. Now, Joe is proud to be part of a team dedicated to creating real, lasting change through education and community engagement.

Anita Jackson

Director of Community C.A.R.E

Anita Jackson is the Director of Community CARE at Peace Learning Center. With an MPA from Indianapolis University-Indianapolis, Anita first connected with PLC’s mission while working as a classroom teacher, where she admired the focus on empowering children to resolve conflicts. Her passion lies in creating systems that recognize past inequities and advocate for an equitable and inclusive future. Anita is dedicated to building a world where differences are celebrated and honored, fostering a stronger, united community.

Montez Rowley

Indy Peace Leaders Program Coordinator & Marketing Assistant

Montez Rowley is the Indy Peace Leaders Coordinator at Peace Learning Center. With a heart for service, Montez was drawn to an organization dedicated to empowering students to become peace builders. He is driven by the belief that mentorship and guidance can transform lives, just as it did for him through similar programs. Montez is passionate about giving back and inspiring the next generation to "be the change you want to see in the world." - Gandhi.

Rebecca Marsh

Director of Social Emotional Learning

Rebecca Marsh is the Director of Social Emotional Learning at Peace Learning Center. With a BS in Marketing from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business and an MSEd in Instructional Systems Technology from the IU School of Education (expected in May 2025), Rebecca has long admired PLC’s mission of promoting peace, equity, and justice. Driven by her belief in the transformative power of mindfulness and self-awareness, she is passionate about fostering healing and fairness to help individuals achieve true fulfillment and self-actualization.

Clare Wildhack-Nolan

Director of Equity Learning

Clare Wildhack-Nolan, Director of Equity Learning at Peace Learning Center, brings a deep commitment to education, community, and holistic learning. With an MAT from National Louis University, Clare believes in empowering people as creative problem solvers who challenge themselves and societal structures to foster a just world. Passionate about connecting with others to combat violence and oppression, she strives to develop herself and others as catalysts for peace, equity, and justice.

Liz Guadiana

Director of Restorative Learning

Liz Guadiana serves as the Director of Restorative Learning at Peace Learning Center, bringing her Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs from IU Indianapolis. Liz’s personal journey, shaped by experiences of injustice and a deep commitment to social justice, led her to PLC, where she is passionate about embedding social-emotional learning, restorative justice, and equity into systems. Inspired by the belief that peace is a tangible practice, Liz is dedicated to creating inclusive, transformative spaces. "Courage is the price that life exacts for granting peace." - Amelia Earhart.

Emily Tribbett

Peace Learning Circles Program Manager

Emily Tribbett is the Program Manager of Peace Learning Circles at Peace Learning Center. With a B.S. from Indiana University and an M.A. in Educational Technology from Michigan State University, Emily left her classroom teaching role to continue her commitment to making a positive impact. After relocating from Chicago to Indianapolis, she began working toward dismantling systemic inequities and empowering youth to use their voices for peace, equity, and justice.

L. Addison Bradford

Facilitator - Trainer & RJI Coordinator

L. Addison Bradford (Addison) is a Facilitator Trainer and Restorative Justice Initiative (RJI) Coordinator at Peace Learning Center. With a Master's degree and academic experience from Grinnell College, DePaul University, and Indiana University, Addison transitioned from academia to PLC to make a direct impact on people’s daily lives. Passionate about promoting peace, equity, and justice, Addison believes that dismantling white supremacy is the challenge of our time, and is committed to working toward a more just and equitable society.

Mame Keita

Facilitator - Coordinator

Mame Keita is a Facilitator-Coordinator at Peace Learning Center. With a Master's degree from McKinney School of Law, Mame is deeply inspired by PLC's mission to spread peace and justice. She believes that fostering connections and relationships is key to creating a more understanding world. Passionate about education, Mame is driven by the belief that it is the most powerful tool for change, aligning with Nelson Mandela’s words: "Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world."

Heidi Fledderjohn

Facilitator - Coordinator

Heidi Fledderjohn is a Facilitator Coordinator at Peace Learning Center with a BA in Psychology from Miami of Ohio and an MA in Dance/Movement Therapy from Goucher College. Drawn to PLC’s legacy of fostering trust, belonging, and change, Heidi believes in the transformative power of community. She is passionate about creating spaces where all voices are valued and challenging conversations lead to nurturing possibility and peace. Heidi is dedicated to empowering others to fearlessly be themselves.

Macy Cansdale

Facilitator - Coordinator

Macy Cansdale, a Facilitator/Coordinator at Peace Learning Center, holds a Bachelor of Science in Youth and Community Development from Butler University. Passionate about promoting equity through inclusive education, Macy began her journey with PLC during her senior year internship, drawn to their intersectional approach to fostering peace and justice in schools. Words from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. guide her work — "The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice." She believes that by nurturing today’s youth to lead with love and empathy, we can create a more equitable future.
