A highlight of the tour includes an exclusive look at the former Thornridge Estate, built by W.C. Griffith, later owned by J.K. Lilly II, and transformed into the Museum of Indiana Heritage before becoming part of the park’s rich tapestry. Wander through the grounds as you explore the remnants of its storied past and take in the beauty of Indiana’s spring wildflowers on a guided walk.
Nestled among the trees and overlooking the water, Peace Learning Center serves as a sanctuary for peace education, hosting schools, summer camps, and community programs that empower youth and adults to build peace within themselves and the world around them. By attending this event, you will not only experience the wonders of history and nature but also support a center dedicated to promoting understanding and transformation in our communities.
