Professional Development
As a catalyst for positive change, Peace Learning Center makes justice-minded professional development accessible to all with our Community Workshops offerings. Individuals can register for a number of programs, including Equity Action Circles, Restorative Practices Level 1, and Critical Conversations.
Partnerships
Local non-profits, religious organizations, community groups, and school clubs can also partner with us to offer youth a variety of learning opportunities. Our Peacebuilders enrichment experiences run year-round, with additional availability from May to September. Each session gives youth the chance to sharpen their social-emotional skills through playful, collaborative, hands-on activities.
Social Justice Leadership Camp
On our community calendar, teens and families can find details about our annual Social Justice Leadership (SJLC). SJLC is a multi-week immersive experience that empowers youth to develop the confidence and knowledge needed to analyze and disrupt existing systems of power.
Climate Change
Each summer, PLC also excitedly supports the work of community partners like Earth Charter by hosting sessions of their Climate Camp. Climate Camp is an opportunity for kids ages 6 and up "to dig deep on climate change and climate solutions."
