Let’s start with the easy stuff – give us a sample of your professional background and experience.
My background includes consulting, organizing, campaign and strategy work around equity and victim’s rights. I have over 20 years of small business and nonprofit leadership experience. I earned my Juris Doctor degree from Indiana Tech Law School; a Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management from Indiana Wesleyan University; and a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Counseling from Crossroads Bible College.
What brought you to PLC?
I was drawn to the Peace Learning Center because of its mission and work to become an anti-racist organization.
What are you most excited about in your new role?
I am most excited about working with smart, creative people who are dedicated to a vision of our community that is welcoming and supportive of all.
What’s your idea of a perfect day?
A perfect day is relaxing time with family with good food, good music, and laughter.

Who is someone you look up to? Why?
I look up to my mom and dad because they are the epitome of unconditional, sacrificial love.
Lastly, how did you celebrate when you accepted your new job?
My husband cooked dinner.
